Thiruvananthapuram: United Democratic Front (UDF) convener Adoor Prakash on Thursday lashed out at Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan for the 'lack of coordination' among the allies of the front. Prakash made the statements during a press meet at Thiruvananthpuram.

He said, as Chairman of the Front, the chief minister is responsible for convening UDF meetings, but he has failed to do so.

In addition, Prakash stated that he is unaware of several decisions being made in the party and that he gets to know several developments through media reports.

The convener remarked that he was not informed about the Cabinet decision to appoint M K Muneer as chairman of the State Administrative Reforms Commission (SARC) and Forward Bloc General Secretary G Devarajan as the State government’s representative in New Delhi.

Prakash also sought V D Satheesan's explanation about his 'sponsored' flights, saying he has a responsibility to explain. The convener further alleged that there was a lack of coordination in the recently concluded bypolls in the state.

Prakash said he would raise the matter with the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
